People avoid this foot-over-bridge because it has become a dump. Ironically, it was built for our safety, but now it's a safety hazard because of the filth and lack of lighting. Let’s reclaim this bridge! Who's ready to paint and clean this up? It’s been noticeable for a while now and seems to be getting slightly worse with time. The "Cycle Lane" is now a two-wheeler parking lot.

Daily Commute & Transport
The dedicated cycle lane on ORR was a great idea, but now it’s filled with parked delivery bikes and autos. It’s impossible for cyclists to use it without merging into the fast traffic. Why are there no bollards or enforcement? Has anyone raised this with the DULT (Directorate of Urban Land Transport)? We need to protect our cyclists. Open to suggestions or pointers on what would be the right next step. Trying to get a better understanding of how to approach this.

I cross this bridge every day to get to the bus stop, and the amount of spit stains, plastic wrappers, and discarded masks is sickening. It’s a major transit point for thousands of us, but it feels like a dump. The corners are filled with old tea cups and cigarette butts that have been there for months. I’m looking for 10 people who are tired of this mess to join me for a deep scrub of the stairs and the main walkway. We’ll be scraping off old posters and sweeping out the corners. It’s time we take some pride in our commute. If anyone wants to join in or has done something similar, would be great to coordinate. What is Karmana

Real changes happen only when you do something, not just talk or think about it. Karmana is where intent turns into action. Karmana enables anyone who wants to do something good for society, at their own level of effort. You can lead change, contribute your time, support ongoing efforts, spread awareness, help others by providing critical information or inform about an existing issue for others to pick up. When you do something good for the society, you become a Karmana. Karmana is not just this platform, everyone on this platform are Karmana. Be a Karmana.

How Karmana Works

Karmana aims to create a proactive society which solves its problem on its own rather than waiting for somone else. Karmana makes it simple for everyone to participate and create meaningful impact — Discover an issue, take ownership, plan action, gather support, and share impact. You can also help someone by providing critical information or spreading awareness. There are more ways than we can imagine to help improve the society around us. Let's not just talk about it, but create impact through action.
